Sunny Days at the Chair of Leadership

Despite the fall-like weather, the Chair of Leadership got together for their annual summer team day last week. To kick off the day and share research-related ideas, we gathered for a breakfast in the heart of Düsseldorf’s old town. The entire team came together, joined by our cherished alumni Vera Schweitzer and Lioba Gierke, as well as guest researcher Assistant Professor Roman Briker from Maastricht University. Something to take away: AI will definitely change the way we conduct research on people in organizations; for example, text data in surveys can now be much more easily analyzed… As always, if you are interested in learning more or have such data and want to collaborate – reach out! 

After breakfast, the team engaged in a series of insightful discussions about the Chair’s strategy and teaching, including our future plans. Stay tuned for some VR-related innovations in our courses! Moreover, we particularly enjoyed hearing from our “floor neighbor,” Assistant Professor Pisitta Vongswasdi, who talked about her ongoing projects and provided valuable perspectives on future research areas.

To prove the point that summer is a question of attitude, we ended the day with a barbecue on our terrace. To Roman, Vera, Lioba, Pisitta, and all team members—thank you for making this day a success!
